Frequently Asked Questions About Visa Services

What visa types does V Goal handle?
We handle outbound visa applications from Thailand to countries worldwide. Our services fall into three main categories. Relationship visas include marriage visas , fiancee visas , and visitor visas for partners and family members. Travel and work visas cover tourist visas and business visas . We also process country-specific visas for the USA , UK , Schengen zone , Canada , Australia , New Zealand , Japan , and China . Beyond visa applications, we provide document translation , marriage registration in Thailand, and travel insurance required by certain embassies.
What's the difference between using a visa agent and applying through VFS myself?
VFS Global, TLS Contact, and BLS are visa application centers. They accept your documents and forward them to the embassy, but they do not review whether your application is actually strong enough to be approved. If something is missing or poorly presented, they will still submit it. A visa agent works with you before submission. We review your financial evidence, prepare your supporting documents to embassy standards, advise on how to present your case, and identify issues that could lead to denial. The application center handles logistics. We handle strategy and preparation, which is where most approvals or rejections are decided. If you are confident your documents are complete and correctly formatted, VFS self-service works fine. If you want someone to check before you submit, that is what we do.
Can you help if I've been rejected by another agency or after applying on my own?
Yes. Many of our clients come to us after a previous rejection, whether they applied independently or through another service. A prior denial does not mean you cannot be approved. It means something in the original application did not meet the embassy's requirements. We start by reviewing the denial notice and your previous documents to understand exactly what went wrong. In some cases the issue is straightforward, like insufficient financial evidence or a missing document. In others, the case needs to be restructured and presented differently. We will be honest during your consultation about whether the issues can be addressed and what a stronger reapplication looks like. If we do not think we can improve the outcome, we will tell you that directly.
How do I know which visa type is right for my situation?
Choosing the wrong visa category is one of the most common mistakes we see, and it can lead to denial or significant delays. For example, couples often ask whether they should apply for a fiancee visa or a marriage visa , and the right answer depends on your timeline, where you plan to marry, and your partner's country. Similarly, a short family visit and a long-term relocation require completely different visa types even when the destination is the same. During your free consultation, we assess your specific circumstances and recommend the visa category that gives you the best chance of approval. There is no obligation, and it saves you from starting down the wrong path.
What happens during the free consultation?
The consultation is a conversation about your situation, not a sales pitch. We ask about your destination, the purpose of your trip, your relationship status if relevant, your timeline, and any previous visa history. Based on that, we explain which visa type fits your case, what documents you will need, how long the process typically takes, and whether we see any potential issues that should be addressed before applying. If your case has complications (such as a prior denial or unusual circumstances), we will tell you upfront rather than discovering problems after submission. You can visit our office near BTS Udom Suk , or contact us through LINE or WhatsApp. Most consultations take 15 to 30 minutes.
How long does the visa process take?
Every visa application has two phases: document preparation (handled by our team) and embassy processing (handled by the embassy after submission). Preparation typically takes 7 to 10 working days, though marriage visas and fiancee visas require approximately one month due to legalization and police check requirements. Embassy processing times vary by destination: USA visas 5 to 7 working days after interview, Japan 5 working days, Schengen UK and Australia approximately 15 working days, Canada 15 to 45 working days, China 30+ working days. These are typical timelines based on our experience. Contact us for a current estimate based on your visa type and destination.
